Senior Clinician – Patient Experience
JOB DESCRIPTION & MAIN BUSINESS OBJECTIVES:
The Senior Clinician – Patient Experience technology discipline is focused on educating and representing solutions focused on digitization and automation of the following deliverables:
- Patient education and care journey
- Environmental controls
- Meds to beds support
- Meal ordering
- Patient entertainment
- Video conferencing
- Patient/nurse communications
- Digital rounds
- Automated service request routing
- Closing the loop on services requests
- Real time staff location and presence
- Whiteboards
- Review capture and analysis
- Post discharge support
- Real time patient status reporting
- Care team optimization
- Emergency room patient communication management
This is a position focused on influencing senior hospital administrators and clinicians that will help drive sales, serve as a content knowledge expert, participate in proposal preparation, develop detailed services methodologies and deliver customer presentations and demonstrations based on a portfolio of solution capabilities.
The Senior Clinician must sustain an intimate understanding of major account strategies and a thorough knowledge of Key Partner support capabilities and limitations. This support model will also contain business process and goals analysis, which delineates current and future business trends and strategies along with the possible technology impacts to the business success.
This position will report to the Director of Healthcare
The position will require complete comprehension and expertise in building and extending current relationships and partnerships with Key Partners in shaping high value sales propositions. This will be based on having detailed market intelligence and knowledge, including firsthand experience. It will also be very beneficial that you have executive level relationships in various hospitals and/or LTC’s.
ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES
- Develop and deliver solution proposals and RFP/RFI responses to existing clients and prospective clients in coordination with Client Executives
- Develop and deliver presentations, strategy sessions and executive briefings to existing and new clients and prospective clients in coordination with Client Executives
- Obtain and maintain required Key Partner training to be the subject matter expert on the solutions we represent
- Work with engineering team to develop and deliver proof-of-concept projects for customers on specific Patient Engagement solutions
- Contribute to PX Solutions marketing and sales success; develop teaching and learning tools which marry technology and clinical realities using user-friendly mechanisms
- Become PX Solutions’ face and voice in the market, engaging and partnering with CNE/VP Patient Experience/COOs, as appropriate, to form new and outcome focused relationships
- Demonstrate success in assisting healthcare clients to improve the patient experience and improved outcome
General Skills/Attributes:
- In depth understanding of the clinician roles and responsibilities within hospitals and LTC’s
- Teamwork and collaboration with the extended team and external partners
- Excellent presentation and written communication skills and the ability to articulate clearly and concisely.
- Working knowledge of Microsoft Office Suite (Outlook, Word, PowerPoint etc.),
- Ability to work independently
- Demonstrates flexibility in terms of schedule, working remotely
- Knowledge of nursing theory, professional practice models, care delivery models, evidence-based practice and research
- Good to have, knowledge of EMR software
REQUIREMENTS & EXPERIENCE
- 10+ years of clinician experience, preferably including having held leadership positions in the delivery of clinical care
- BN or BScN
- Ideally have had experience representing patient experience solutions
- Previous experience working with healthcare quality metrics such as: Nursing Sensitive measures such as falls with injury and infection prevention, readmissions reduction, and discharge readiness
- Experience in working with healthcare executives on strategic imperatives
